HOLIDAY HANG-UPS, INC.
In 1991, Kathie Newhall invented, designed and patented a magnetic hook to solve the dilemma of hanging a holiday decoration on a steel door. As friends and neighbors caught wind of the idea, the magnetic hook became wildly popular and thus, Holiday Hang-Ups, Inc. was born.
Kathie quickly employed some of the best talent in town and produced her Holiday Hang-Ups in the basement of her home until her business grew large enough to warrant warehouse space!
Through the years, our company has received a lot of notice and many accolades.
- In 1997, our magnetic wreath hanger was named BEST in SHOW in Boston during QVC's Road Show.
- In September 2003, Kathie was featured in the Boston Globe.
